MTV's Exile & Randomness....

Why do I miss someone that I know is not good for me? Because I don’t believe he is not good for me that’s why I am so lame I know! I don’t even think that I miss him, I just need some answers and I can’t deal with the fact that I will probably never get them. BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I started school today. My 1st class is A LOT of work but it should be a good experience and I could use it. I had my Spanish class and it was horrible it was a T.V. so I had to switch it out and dropped another class. But I am hoping to get into a class tomorrow; I am just waiting for an email.

So I watched the show Exile tonight, it came on after The Hills <3. And I think it’s a really stupid show. It’s about kids from the “Super Sweet 16” show that are being sent to foreign countries so they can “see what other people go through in the world” and to show the kids how spoiled they are. I feel like they are shunning and being disrespectful to other cultures, because MTV is kind of saying “look how lucky you are because you don’t live like these people!” It’s stupid because the parents are sending their kids like it is punishment! HELLLLLO, aren’t you, the parents, who spoiled your kid? Why did you let your kids become complete assholes and snotty bitches? Why does your 16 year old child get a $100,000 car? Why did you buy it for them? Did you really expect them to have any type of respect, pride, or responsibility? They are not responsible with anything in their life because you did not make them be responsible! There are so many people out there who would love the opportunities to travel like these kids are getting to travel (me being one of them) and others really would not take the experience for granted like these kids are and/or are going to! The one girl that was on tonight said “oh it really changed me and made me realize how lucky I am” (she went to Africa to live with a tribe family). Who wouldn’t be changed by experiencing a life style that is 100% simplified compared the lives that are shoved down our throats on a daily basis? Why didn’t her dad just cut her off and make her be responsible for some of her own things and given someone who deserves a trip to Africa, a trip to Africa. I don’t know I just think our society is really ass backwards in everything we do and things that we accept for the norm. I have said it a million times but we have no values, morals, or culture, we thrive on money and materialistic objects and I think it’s very sad.
